The main river is less than 20 metres away and a gentle 0.25 mile stroll leads to the bustling heart of Wroxham and its shops, cafés and riverside pubs. Glorious sandy beaches at Sea Palling, Waxham and Winterton are within 12 miles and the National Trust properties of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, picturesque fishing villages, bird reserves and seal watching boat trips off the North Norfolk coast are all within an easy drive as is Bewilderwood, an imaginative tree house adventure park that is a firm family favourite. The medieval city of Norwich, with its magnificent cathedral, castle museum, cobbled streets, galleries, theatres, cinemas and excellent shopping opportunities, lies just 9 miles away. Shops and pubs 0.25 miles.

Reviews
The cottage is in a perfect setting, on a quiet inlet, off the river Bure in the Norfolk Broads. Complete with a rowing boat for messing about on the river. We sat and watched a heron eating his breakfast of a mouse on the lawn. Whether it's boating, fishing, nature watching or just relaxing - there is something for everyone on this holiday.

The coastline is the major attraction here, with miles of sandy beaches stretching from historic King’s Lynn all the way round to Great Yarmouth, famous for its Golden Mile and multitude of seaside attractions and entertainments. Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. If you prefer something quieter during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk, try the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers and birdwatchers. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.
The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
